What it is

Hydradermabrasion, the hydro facial without the brand — explained the way Zhanna explains it.

Hydradermabrasion is the underlying technique behind HydraFacial, DiamondGlow, and every other branded variant. The mechanism is the same — wet exfoliation paired with simultaneous serum infusion. What changes between brands is the device and the cartridges it accepts. The technique is a category, not a brand.

Idro-Pulizia Clinica uses professional, non-branded equipment (hydrodermabrasion, red-LED therapy, and oxygen infusion) outside any branded system. The treatment runs ninety minutes — longer than branded protocols because the surface clearance is integrated into a manual lymphatic and closing massage rather than being delivered as a stand-alone device session. The path to it is anatomical, not corporate.

The featured variant — Trattamento Vera Pelle — pairs the ninety-minute hydradermabrasion base with the thirty-minute Buccal Face Lifting Massage for one hundred and twenty minutes total at five hundred dollars. The combination is what most regulars book once they have a baseline session under them: surface clearance from the device, structural release from the gloved buccal work. For the full Tier 3 escalation (Hydradermabrasion Luxe + European Lymphatic, two and a half hours, $625) see Rinnovamento Completo.

Who it's for

The Idro-Pulizia Clinica fits if any of these describe you.

  • 01Clients new to clinical resurfacing who want a non-branded option
  • 02HydraFacial regulars curious about a longer, more integrated version
  • 03Texture, congestion, dullness — the surface-level concerns
  • 04Pre-event clients in the seventy-two-hour window
  • 05Anyone who has had a branded hydradermabrasion and wondered what else there was

What to expect

The session, in order.

The sequence below is the typical order of operations. Timings, pressure, and modifications change with the skin — Zhanna adjusts in the room.

  1. 01

    Consultation · skin reading

Standard intake review plus a careful assessment of current skin state. The acid choice and exfoliation tip selection happen at the chair.

  2. 02

    Double cleanse · enzyme softening

Oil-based then water-based cleanse. Enzyme softening to prep the surface for the resurfacing step.

  3. 03

    Hydradermabrasion · vacuum exfoliation

Hydradermabrasion calibrated to your skin. Your serum booster — Hydro Glycolic, Vitamin C, Peptide, Salicylic or Hyaluronic — chosen for your skin.

  4. 04

    Manual extractions

Targeted manual extractions where the resurfacing didn't fully clear comedones. Not all skin needs this step.

  5. 05

    Custom serum infusion

Vitamin C, hyaluronic, or peptide serum infused via the device, finished with an oxygen infusion matched to your skin needs. Locked in with cryo sculpting spoon application.

  6. 06

    LED · closing massage

Eight minutes of LED — red light for collagen support, blue light if active breakouts are present — while Zhanna works the scalp, neck, and decolletage manually.

  7. 07

    Closing ritual

Warm cloth, then chilled face mist with serum infusion, moisturizer, and SPF. Light reflectance on freshly resurfaced skin is most of the visible result.

Modalities included

What's in the session.

  • Hydradermabrasion
  • Serum-booster infusion
  • Enzyme masque

Recommended cadence

Every 4–6 weeks for active resurfacing; quarterly after

If you're actively addressing texture, congestion, or post-acne pigmentation, four-to-six-week cadence for three sessions builds a visible foundation. After that, quarterly cadence maintains the surface state.

Aftercare

What to do — and avoid — after.

Every Vera Pelle treatment

  • Aftercare · Change your pillowcase for the first 24 hours after treatment.
  • Pregnancy safety · For pregnant clients, manual technique and massage only — no devices, ever. (LED, micro-current, RF, EMS, electroporation, and the hydradermabrasion machine are excluded.)

Mineral sunscreen mandatory. No retinol or active acids for forty-eight hours. Avoid hot environments (sauna, hot yoga, steamy shower) until the skin barrier settles.

Reintroduce active ingredients (retinol, AHAs, BHAs) gradually starting day three. Skin will be more receptive to hydration — a peptide moisturizer at night does its best work this week.

Accutane within six months.

Recent (within ten days) chemical peel or laser.

Active rosacea flare.

Active herpes simplex outbreak anywhere on the face.

Pregnancy — hydradermabrasion is not performed at any stage of pregnancy; the treatment is device-based and there is no manual substitute.

Frequently Asked

The questions clients actually ask.

No. HydraFacial is a brand owned by BeautyHealth. Idro-Pulizia Clinica uses the same underlying technique (hydradermabrasion) but with non-branded equipment and a different serum protocol. The price reflects the treatment, not a brand license.

Professional, non-branded hydradermabrasion equipment — not a HydraFacial or DiamondGlow machine. It does wet exfoliation with simultaneous serum infusion, red-LED therapy, and oxygen infusion. No proprietary cartridges, no annual activation codes, no brand premium.

Most facial LED is red and blue only. Ours runs several colours, so the light is chosen for what your skin is doing that day rather than applied as one fixed setting — red for collagen and circulation, blue for active breakouts, the calming colours for redness and uneven tone. It runs at the end of the session while Zhanna works the scalp, neck, and decolletage by hand.

Light flaking around the perioral area for two-to-three days is normal. Visible peeling is rare and indicates a more aggressive acid choice than is typical for this protocol.

Yes — Trattamento Vera Pelle pairs this surface layer with the Buccal Lift for a structural-and-surface combination in a single session. If you've been booking standalone HydraFacials elsewhere, ask Zhanna in the consultation whether the combined protocol would serve you better.

Idro-Pulizia Clinica is $375 for ninety minutes. The price reflects the session — the technique inside a manual sequence — not a brand license.

No. Hydradermabrasion is the technique, wet exfoliation paired with simultaneous serum infusion; HydraFacial is one brand built on that technique. Vera Pelle uses the technique, not the brand: Idro-Pulizia Clinica runs on professional, non-branded equipment inside a ninety-minute session that integrates the device work with manual lymphatic and closing massage.

Zhanna chooses from five based on your skin that day. Hydro Glycolic Exfoliant — glycolic acid with aloe; exfoliates and renews, for dull or dehydrated skin. Vitamin C — daisy flower extract, arbutin and glycolic acid; brightens and tones, for sunspots and uneven tone. Peptide — Matrixyl 3000 and Argireline peptides; firms and smooths, suits sensitive skin. Salicylic — salicylic acid with willow bark and tea tree; clears pores and calms redness, for acne-prone skin. Hyaluronic — hyaluronic acid with antioxidants; deep hydration, plumps fine lines, for dehydrated skin.
